Welcome to The Rancher's Wife

Hi friends, 

I’m so thrilled to be welcoming you all to my new favorite and fun place, The Rancher’s Wife. You may be wondering how a California girl like me, ended up here. It all started 15 years ago when my husband Jeff took me on a tour all over the west looking for a ranch. It had been his dream to own a ranch since he was a little boy. I was skeptical of whether a tiny town of less than 200 would suit me, but after discovering the beauty of the seasons, wide open spaces, snow capped Tetons, and our small ranch house, I was converted. Now, you can’t keep me away.

A common theme from my friends when I head to Wyoming … is WY? Again? And my answer is always pretty much the same. I love the escape to a beautiful place… our 4J Ranch. This little slice of heaven was named after our family—my husband Jeff, our daughters Jamie and Jill and me. That’s right, four J’s in the family made up the perfect name for our second home. 

As an interior designer, I’m always taking note of new and upcoming design trends, but over the years I’ve become captivated by Western design. Of course, I had to put my own California spin on it to create what I call the Modern Ranch look. 

The Rancher’s Wife is a place for all things ranch—home decor, lifestyle inspiration, and style so you can look the part too. My hope is that I can inspire those who love the west as much as I do and introduce it’s beauty to all who haven’t experienced it yet. So, make yourself comfortable and stay a while, I promise this is just the beginning.
